I had the pleasure of sharing "A 'maria y una mariposa
Fantastica," written by Eva Marie with my school. It is a
beautifully crafted book which integrates Science and
revolves around the life cycle of a butterfly. This book
was used for our school's Language Day, and it proved
to be an excellent choice for English speaking students
looking to engage with Spanish literature.
The students were able to follow along with the story
quite well and respond to questions. The combination
of straightforward narrative and beautiful imagery
allowed the students to grasp the stages of a butterfly.
